A maternity photography session at my Boston studio is a time to capture the start of your baby's story as well as the beauty and power of everything your body is doing.
The Vision
As your Boston maternity photographer, it is my job to help you feel comfortable and beautiful. This is achieved though styling, posing and editing. Anything that distracts from the absolute miracle that you are growing a human life is minimized so you can fully appreciate the beauty of this season.

A: I offer a studio wardrobe including white, black and lace maternity dresses, custom maternity gowns, lace robes and oversized white dress shirts. I welcome clients bringing personal items such as jeans, your partner’s white dress shirt, cropped tee or a Calvin Klein bra set for a more casual look. Together we will select wardrobe pieces that fit your style goals as well as best flatter your body type and coloring.
Q: How does maternity session styling work?

A: As your maternity photographer in Boston, it is my job to help you feel comfortable and beautiful! Most of my clients are not professional models and even professional models are not experts at posing while pregnant. I will guide you every step of the way!
Q: I am interested in a maternity session but I have no idea how to pose and am afraid it will be awkward.
A: Retouching of all final images is included. My goal when editing is for you to look like your authentic self but your best self. Blemishes, blotchiness and any other temporary skin issues are blended away. Any small problem areas are lifted, tucked and smoothed as needed. Basically any distractions are minimized so you can fully appreciate the true beauty of the moment we are capturing.
Q: Is retouching included? Will our photos be heavily edited?
A: Partners and older children are welcome at signature maternity sessions. Petite maternity sessions include expectant mothers only.
Q: Can my partner and older children be included at my maternity session?
A: Always!
Q: Can my dog be included?
A: My Boston maternity photography studio address is 37 Fairfield Street Boston MA 02116. I am on the second floor.
Q: Where is your studio located?
A: There is metered parking on Fairfield Street and typically if you go up Fairfield towards Beacon street you can find an open spot. There is also metered parking on the surrounding cross streets (Newbury, Gloucester and Essex Streets) and a parking garage a block from my studio on the corner of Essex and Newbury Streets (entrance on Essex Street just past the Nike Store).
Q: Is there parking available at your maternity photography studio?
A: Lighter neutral colors like white, light grey, cream and tan photograph well in my all white studio. I suggest avoiding black and dark denim.
I have a studio wardrobe available for moms and babies.
Q: What should we wear for a studio session?
A: I accept a limited number of clients each month with appointments booking about two months in advance. Once booked, I will tentatively schedule your session for two weeks following your due date with an exact date and time to be finalized after your baby arrives. If you happen to have found me after your baby is born please reach out, I do sometimes have last minute openings if other babies arrive early or late.
