I offer both in home and studio newborn photo sessions. 

Studio Newborn Photo Session

The advantages of a studio session?  Wardrobe for mom.  Lots of natural light.  Simple, neutral backgrounds and bedding.  No need to get the house ready.  There is room for extended family and dogs are welcome. I am centrally located in the Back Bay, within walking distance or a short drive of the South End, Fenway, Beacon Hill, Cambridge, Brookline and Jamaica Plain.

In Home Newborn Photo Session

The advantages of an in home session? No need to navigate packing up and getting out of the house with a newborn.  Easier on moms who may be having a tougher recovery physically.  Allows us to include your nursery and other areas of your home in your photos. I bring everything needed to photograph baby to your home!

Flexible Scheduling

As a first time parent it is hard to anticipate what the first few weeks at home with a newborn will look like so when you book a session with me you do not need to make a final decision on the location of your session until after your baby arrives.

Considering an in home newborn session but not sure what to expect? Below is an example of a recent session.

In this case Mom was planning on a studio session but ended up having some medical complications and opting for an in home session.

Baby girl did not have a nursery set up yet, but we are able to use a simple white wall and window in the home along with the white blanket and headbands I brought to the home to create simple classic newborn and family photos.
